Main Capital invests in GBTEC and acquires majority stake

GBTEC Software + Consulting AG brings the strategic investor Main Capital Partners on board. The Dutch investor Main Capital has been making investments for over 15 years with an exclusive focus on the software industry to help IT companies with internationalization and sustainable growth, both organically and inorganically. With an experienced team of financial and operational experts, Main Capital have led many software companies to success. Now, Main Capital are further expanding their portfolio of strategic equity investments by investing heavily in one of the leading software and consulting specialists for Business Process Management (BPM). Along with the founder and CEO of GBTEC, Gregor Greinke, and co-founder and partner, Marc-Oliver Stromberg, Main Capital give new impetus for the strategic development of GBTEC.

With the BPM suite BIC Cloud, GBTEC provides an award-winning tool for the modeling, analysis, optimization and automation of business processes. The company, with its headquarters in Bochum, Germany, has established itself as the leading provider of BPM solutions and the respective consulting services in the DACH region. Early on, GBTEC unlocked the potential of cloud technology for its BPM solutions and has thus accelerated its constant growth.
