Main Capital invests in GBTEC and acquires majority stake

Today, the investor Main Capital announces an investment of nearly 50 million Euro in GBTEC, a leading player in Business Process Management. With a strategic stake of 51 percent, Main Capital pushes the continuous growth and progressive internationalization of the software specialist from Bochum, Germany.

GBTEC Software + Consulting AG brings the strategic investor Main Capital Partners on board. The Dutch investor Main Capital has been making investments for over 15 years with an exclusive focus on the software industry to help IT companies with internationalization and sustainable growth, both organically and inorganically. With an experienced team of financial and operational experts, Main Capital have led many software companies to success. Now, Main Capital are further expanding their portfolio of strategic equity investments by investing heavily in one of the leading software and consulting specialists for Business Process Management (BPM). Along with the founder and CEO of GBTEC, Gregor Greinke, and co-founder and partner, Marc-Oliver Stromberg, Main Capital give new impetus for the strategic development of GBTEC.
